James A. Lookadoo

Dr. Lookadoo is a professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at Pittsburg State University. He joined the faculty in 1985. His Ph.D. was earned in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He earned the M.S. degree in Physics from Texas A&M University and a B.S. degree in Physics and Mathematics from Henderson State University. He specializes in data communications systems, data acquisition systems and advanced digital logic design. He has been a summer faculty fellow at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. His work helped create key components now used in virtually all satellite data communication systems. He also has served as Director of Academic Affairs for Goddard’s NASA Academy, a program to enhance America’s next generation of aerospace explorers.
