Important Announcement:

The Aeronautics Research Directorate and the Vehicle Systems Program will sponsor a 2005-2006 Student Competition, contingent on available funds.

Details will be posted on this site about September 7, 2005.

Note two separate divisions for entries:

• High School Division

• University Division

  (The 2005 University Division Third Tier winner was the University of Kansas Industrial Design department for its Airport Design Study for a Personal Air Vehicle.)

The student competition sponsors are NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA, part of the NASA Vehicle Systems Program, and the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, NJ, part of the Federal Aviation Administration.
